- the places
- the intelligence service
- Bond’s equipment (weapons and gadgets).
STEP TWO : Listen to an interview HERE (part 1)

THE SECRET OF KELLS
TIME CAPSULE
DISCOVER WHAT A TIME CAPSULE IS
Let’s watch an episode of Horrid Henry HERE.
How to make a time capsule? HERE.
How to write a letter to your future self HERE.
UNDERSTAND PEOPLE INTRODUCE THEMSELVES
In order to be able to describe your time capsule and introduce yourself, let’s practise your listening skills.
Listen to these 3 teenagers introduce themselves HERE and get as much information as you can.
SPEAK ABOUT A CAPSULE AND THE PERSON WHO HAD THESE OBJECTS
Let’s get ready to understand people talking about the objects they want to put in a capsule.
First, have a look at a photo and describe the artist thanks to these objects HERE.
In class, the same teenagers are preparing a time capsule with their teacher. They must choose one object to bury in the capsule.
What objects did they choose? HERE.
INTERVIEW YOUR CLASSMATES
Now you chose objects that represent who you are, let’s share your ideas and ask each other questions: ‘What will you put in the time capsule? Do you like football? What are you into? Do you like cooking?’
READY? SET! GO!
Now you are ready to talk about your objects and describe your time capsule.
AT A SPELLING BE CONTEST
Listen to the document HERE. It is a conversation.
1 Listen and take notes:
Who? = the identity of persons
Where? = the place where the action takes place
What? = the action
2 Pay attention to the Spelling Bee contest rules (what you must or mustn’t do, your obligations). Write them down.
4 Jonas and Jenny introduce themselves. Can you think of other questions you can ask when you meet someone?
5 Can you hear other words with “spell”?
Now look at this video HERE and complete your exercise ‘Play by the rules’.
