Queen Victoria was born on May, 24th 1819 in Hanover. She was the granddaughter of George III. She married  Albert  Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. They had nine children. 

Her reign lasted 63 years . She succeeded to William IV.She was Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, she was the first Empress of India. Queen Victoria is associated with Britain’s great age of industrial expansion, economic progress and, above all, empire. At her death, it was said Britain had a worldwide empire on which the sun never set.

Queen Victoria died on Janurary, 22nd 1901.
