He was born in 1930 in Scotland in the city of Edinburgh.

Sean practiced acting body bulding and finished 3rd in the Mr Universe competition.
He began acting in 1951, in a play entitled South Pacific. In 1961, the London Express organized a meeting to find the actors for a James Bond movie.
Sean won that competition.
He played seven times JAMES BOND in the movies and he got an Academy Award for the movie: « The Untouchables » in 1987.
The success of those movies made him famous worldwide.
From 1990, he fought for the devolution of Scotland.
On 5th july 2000, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II.
On 7th june 2007, he retired, saying : « Retirement is just too much fun ».
