DISHES AND INGREDIENTS : WHAT IS THERE IN THOSE DISHES ? There is + singulier/ There are + pluriel Ex : There are tomatoes in spaghetti bolognese. There are potatoes in French fries.
1 Couscous . There are zucchinis, turnips, carrots, tomatoes in couscous.
2 Soup. There are vegetables in soup, such as (=comme par exemple) leeks, potatoes, carrots….
3 Marmelade. There are oranges or lemons or tangerines in marmelade
4 Hamburgers. There is salad, and there are onions, or mushrooms in hamburgers. There is a tomato, too.
5 Eton mess. There are strawberries in Eton mess.
